To update your MX files from this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, firstunderstand MX files. Set Mailboxes to Wix to support the Channel Email forwarding.
For various support topics we recommend you create mailboxes.Automatic Actions are then used to assign to the respective groups or agents tickets sent into each mailbox.For example, create a "Billing" mailbox and "Billing," then create an auto-action to assign"Billing" mailbox to the "Billing" group. You'll be able to use the "Billing" mailbox.
Steps
- Log in to your account at https://users.wix.com/signin.
- Go to your DNS records (In the top right, beside your username, click the Down Arrow. Click Domains and next to the domain you want to verify, click the Down Arrow. Finally, click the Mailboxes tab.)
- First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
- To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforward.mx with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforward.mx. with Priority 20
- Click save.
